Designing the very first Faithfull the Brand store was an invitation to translate a feeling into form. A brand long admired for its sun-washed femininity, nostalgic textures, and soulful storytelling. This space marks a meaningful evolution. Rooted in Bali, where it all began, yet shaped by a global community of women, Faithfull now opens the doors to its first physical home.
Located in Pererenan and spanning just under 40 sqm, the boutique is intimate in size but layered with intention. Every line, surface, and finish was considered to reflect the spirit of the brand, not through replication, but through resonance. Our studio approached this project not only as interior designers, but as storytellers. The space was designed to hold history, embody the present, and gesture toward what’s next.

Faithfull lives in the realm of mood and memory. A world of undone beauty, soft contrast, and quiet strength. We echoed this through a tactile language of handmade tiles, vintage wood details, soft travertine, and rattan, woven into a palette of sun-bleached tones and grounded textures. Light moves slowly here. Materials breathe. Nothing feels rushed or over-designed.
At the heart of this project lies creative direction, not as a layer added on, but as the foundation itself. Every element was intentionally curated: not decorative, but narrative. We see creative direction as an act of connection. A way of choosing who and what is invited into the brand’s physical world, and why. Every collaboration, every crafted piece, becomes part of the story Faithfull is telling, not just about fashion, but about time, place, and the women who shape both.
This is where design becomes emotional. Where scent, weight, touch, and silence speak before words do. Where the space becomes not just a setting, but a sensorial invitation. A pause. A presence.
The Faithfull boutique is more than a store. It’s a quiet landmark in the brand’s journey, an expression of its essence, and a soft unfolding of what’s to come.

Set in the heart of Canggu yet wrapped in lush jungle and riverfront stillness, Aroha is a sanctuary that softens the edges of modern life. Named after the Māori word for love, compassion, and also kinship, the retreat holds space for inner recalibration. A place where women gather, move, reflect, and begin again.
The project unfolds as a hybrid of restoration and new build: a full-scale renovation of an existing structure paired with a purpose-built extension, designed in close collaboration with Utara Architects. It features ten considered suites, each with private ensuites, and a shared central space, a communal kitchen and living area, for slow mornings, shared meals, and quiet reading corners. A sculptural pool stretches out over the river below, surrounded by layered tropical landscaping. Beneath it, a dedicated wellness level invites deep rest and renewal with spa treatment rooms, a cold plunge, jacuzzi, and a stone waterfall wall. Offering both immersion and rhythm.
At the upper level, a dedicated yoga shala will host daily movement, women’s circles, and creative workshops. Anchoring the retreat in ritual, breath, and embodiment.
Our design approach leans into the emotional architecture of wellness. This is not simply about creating beautiful spaces, it’s about crafting environments that actively contribute to transformation. The intention behind every curve, surface, and material is to soothe the nervous system, encourage introspection, and hold space for change. Handmade tiles in earthy olive, deep navy, and soft blush tones speak in pigments drawn from nature. Solid teak and ironwood create warmth and grounding. Lighting is intentionally soft and layered. Curated objects, each made by local artisans, add texture, soul, and a quiet sense of place.
This project is a reflection of our growing commitment to designing for well-being. As wellness retreats become essential spaces for healing and reconnection, the role of interior design is no longer aesthetic, it’s functional, emotional, and psychological. Good design supports better sleep, deeper rest, a calmer mind. It becomes part of the program. It shapes the experience, even in silence.
Aroha is not just a destination, it’s a threshold. A return to self, to presence, to inward connection.

This project invites us back to something essential: gathering. Located in the gentle rhythm of Sanur and developed by Pulao Project Group, known for beloved destinations like Yuki. This new concept reimagines hospitality as something generous, relaxed, and grounded in place. A space where families, friends, and couples come together over good food, under wide skies, and within textures that feel distinctly Indonesian.
From the beginning, the vision was to create an atmosphere that feels light, open, and honest, celebrating the comfort of being outdoors while still held by architectural form. It’s an all-inclusive dining experience, not through excess, but through warmth. The kind of place where long lunches stretch into the afternoon, and every corner invites connection.
At the heart of the site is the main dining area, centered around a semi-open kitchen, visible through a framed window that reveals just enough. The entrance welcomes guests with a coffee and matcha-focused bar, and beyond it, an open-air space affectionately called “the lawn” offers a second bar, fire pit, and barbecue zone, designed for informal gatherings and easy movement between indoors and out.
Architecturally, the structure draws from the language of traditional joglo forms, with timber at its core. Natural ventilation, layered landscaping, and softened thresholds blur the line between building and nature. Inside, the interior palette is deeply tactile: ironwood, hand-shaped tiles, lime-washed walls, rustic metals, and curated Indonesian objects that speak to place and memory. Each material was chosen not to impress, but to resonate.
This is where our studio’s approach comes to life, where thoughtful textures, natural light, and quiet craftsmanship create a sensorial environment. Nothing here is designed to shout. Instead, it’s about restraint, balance, and a feeling of ease.
In a time when hospitality can often feel over-produced, this space offers something quieter. A celebration of shared meals, rooted design, and the subtle richness that emerges when everything is done with care.

Tucked within the quiet rhythm of Kaba Kaba, a traditional village framed by river bends and open rice fields, these two residences were imagined as places of pause, shaped by land, light, and the intention to create something lasting.
Privately developed and offered as potential off-plan opportunities, the villas sit on sacred land. Something not only noted in title but deeply felt in atmosphere. One opens directly to the green belt, with uninterrupted rice field views; the second, set just behind, offers a slightly more secluded sense of retreat. Both are surrounded by mature landscape and designed to feel deeply grounded in nature.
The architecture is open, tactile, and rooted in materiality, an extension of our studio’s language. Walk-in wardrobes and semi-open bathrooms flow effortlessly from the bedrooms, softening the boundaries between indoor and outdoor life. Indonesian stone, reclaimed timber, hand-textured walls, rattan, and curated earth tones make up a palette that is both calming and expressive.
This project is, above all, a study in curation. Every object, art piece, and surface was selected with care, to evoke a feeling rather than follow a trend. The renderings reflect this sensitivity: not just architectural compositions, but atmospheric glimpses into the kind of life these spaces are meant to hold.
Kaba Kaba Residences is for those who seek quiet. A slower rhythm. A sense of belonging in nature. Whether as a home, a retreat, or a place to begin again, these villas were made to be lived in, not just looked at.
For inquiries, feel free to reach out. The land is ready. The story is just beginning.

Nestled at the edge of rice fields, River Cottage is a home built around warmth, comfort, and quiet beauty. A blend of Irish cottage sensibility and Balinese softness, the design reflects the family’s dual heritage, an Irish-German touch paired with Indonesian roots, and brings them together in a space that feels both grounded and deeply personal.
Designed in close collaboration with Design Assembly Architects over the course of three years, the home was conceived as a place where every room could tell its own story. Each space with its own materiality and mood, yet all speaking the same visual language. The constant intention: cozy, warm, and homey.
Handmade tiles are woven throughout the home in a variety of tones and patterns, anchoring bathrooms, powder rooms, and quiet corners with tactile detail. Solid teak beams frame the open living areas, while soft ivory paneling and sage cabinetry evoke the quiet charm of a countryside cottage. In the master suite, pale blue tones and natural textures create a space of calm retreat. Elsewhere, bold gestures emerge, a monochrome cinema room wrapped entirely in deep navy velvet, and a children’s bedroom filled with custom bunk beds and tropical wallpaper, balancing playfulness with rhythm.
Fabrics are layered: velvets, linens, rattan. Walls shift between lime-washed and matte-painted, offering subtle changes in texture from one space to the next. Each room has its own character, but never feels disconnected. There’s an underlying consistency in tone, material, and feeling.
River Cottage is a home built slowly, with care. It reflects not just a style, but a way of living, where textures invite touch, where spaces hold presence, and where warmth is not just visual, but emotional. A layered family home that feels as soft as it is strong.
