This project stands as a testament to the innovative approach we embrace, blending traditional bamboo architecture with our modern, sleek, and elevated interior design style. The fusion of these contrasting elements creates a unique, harmonious environment that we truly cherish. The beauty of bamboo is showcased in its architectural design, offering an organic and earthy foundation that flows seamlessly with the refined and contemporary finishes of our interiors.
The project’s scale and concept are unique, carefully designed to meet the needs of a high-end, hospitality-focused environment. It’s not just a space—it’s a destination. The use of rich materials like travertine, bamboo, and locally sourced wood joinery enhances the natural beauty of the surroundings, while our collaboration with local artisans and artists brings the project to life in a way that feels deeply connected to the culture and landscape of Bali.
The interiors, while modern and sleek, maintain a sense of grounded luxury, which is key to the experience we’ve crafted. We’ve integrated these luxurious materials alongside custom-designed pieces, ensuring the space feels unique and tailored to the client’s vision. Every detail, from the hand-finished wooden joinery to the luxurious stone finishes, has been executed with great care, providing a sense of sophistication and warmth.
This project is a true collaboration between Romina Baldomir Studio, architects Pablo Luna Studio, lighting designers Studio Nimmersatt, Bali Construction as the contractor, and Bali Landscape as the landscaping partner. Together, we’ve achieved a project that not only showcases the scale and uniqueness of the concept but also highlights the importance of investing in quality materials and expert craftsmanship. This approach results in a space that is both timeless and contemporary, perfectly suited to the hospitality industry, and one we are incredibly proud of.
A true highlight of this villa is the curved kitchen in Fire villa, where the collaboration between Romina Baldomir Studio and Pablo Luna Studio’s architecture comes to life. As interior designers, we deeply understood the architectural vision by Pablo Luna and translated that into our design approach, ensuring a harmonious integration between the space and its surroundings.
The organic shape of the countertops follows the fluid lines of the architecture, with different marbles coming together in striking contrasts, reflecting both modernity and natural elegance. The choice of marbles brings a luxurious yet grounded feel, complementing the architecture while enhancing the overall atmosphere.
One of the most distinctive features is the custom leg support, crafted from individual wooden horizontal pieces, each meticulously shaped to fit perfectly. This level of craftsmanship not only ensures functionality but also adds an organic, tactile quality that enhances the kitchen’s design.
By fully understanding the architecture and our role as interior designers, we were able to create a kitchen that is not just a functional space, but one that is visually integrated into the villa’s unique aesthetic, blending modern elegance with natural forms.
