In the heart of Ubud, within the cherished Donna restaurant, a brand-new cocktail bar by Romina Baldomir Studio redefines the high-end experience with a refreshing, cool twist. This is our very first foray into cocktail bar design—a space crafted to delight both loyal diners and curious newcomers with an ambiance that’s as sexy as it is inviting.
At the center of the design is a striking pink travertine bar, its smooth surface accented by refined brass details and meticulously carved wooden legs. The bar serves as a stage for the art of mixology, where every cocktail is a crafted masterpiece. Rich, dynamic textures continue throughout the space: sumptuous velvet seating invites relaxation, while checkered floors add a playful rhythm to the environment.
A dynamic layout offers versatile seating arrangements that ensure comfort and encourage leisurely conversation, making it easy for guests to settle in and savor the experience. A dedicated DJ area, featuring a bold brass DJ booth, infuses the space with energy, perfect for those special nights when the music sets the mood.
Adding an unexpected layer of intrigue, a vast deep green library occupies one side of the venue. With unique wallpaper back panels showcasing a curated collection of books and art pieces, this space offers guests a quiet corner for discovery and connection. A testament to the thoughtfulness behind every design decision.

Every piece of travertine was individually selected and carefully cut to highlight its unique veining and natural textures. The raw edges were preserved, allowing the organic beauty of the material to shine through, while the counter surfaces were refined for practicality and ease of maintenance.
